MAIN Chairman’s Safety Award – Mastermyne Group

Each year the Mackay Area Industry Network Cooperative Ltd hosts an awards night which acknowledges and celebrates the success and innovation of local businesses and the significant contribution that they make to both the regional economy and the community. This year, the Mastermyne Group was presented with the Safety Award which recognises outstanding implementation and sustainability of safety systems and practices within the workplace.

Mackay Chamber of Commerce Best Mining Services Award – Mastermyne Group

In August, Mastermyne was nominated for a prestigious Best in Business Award. These awards recognise consistent exceptional service and professionalism of businesses within the Mackay area. Nominees were asked to provide a submission to demonstrate how they manage, monitor and measure customer expectations, customer satisfaction and retention. From all the nominations received, Mastermyne was awarded the Best Mining Services Award.

Illawarra Coal Vendor Recognition Award – Mastermyne (Dendrobium)

Our project team at Dendrobium have been participants in BHP’s Vendor Recognition program throughout the year. The areas measured include safety performance, achievement against plan, efficiencies achieved and people development and retention. Following a presentation, we have been informed that we have been successful in winning the Vender Recognition Award for this year. Congratulations to the team on their achievement.

Illawarra Coal Vendor Recognition Award – PYD Mining Services

Our PYD team at West Cliff was also part of the Vendor award for their works at site. Our congratulations to this team’s performance who finished second to the Dendrobium guys.

Australian Institute of Management (AIM) Management Excellence Awards

At the recent AIM Management Excellence Awards, Allan Purse and Chris Kneipp were nominated for individual Awards. Both Allan and Chris progressed through to the final judging stages in their respective categories and Allan was judged to be the winner in the Regional Professional Manager of the Year Award.
