By now most of you would have heard about the re branding of the Mastermyne Group of companies. As you are all aware, until now we have run under the brands of Mastermyne, Capricorn Mining, DRE Electrical and PYD Mining Services, which were acquired over the last 4 years. These brands have been very strong and reputable in their own right, hence the reason we were keen to have them as part of our business and work with them. But as the business grows it was time to clearly articulate the Mastermyne business strategy and bring our businesses into line with the three divisions we will now run under. By doing this we simplify and clarify the strategic direction for ourselves and our customers; this will ensure we are all heading in the same direction.

Underground will continue to target all underground works, Services will expand its offering to now include mechanical and maintenance projects as well as electrical, and Engineering will continue with engineering services which now include the ventilation control devices. I am very confident that all these areas will continue to grow under the very strong and recognised brand of Mastermyne. 	Mastermyne Underground is a leading provider of underground coal mining services for the development and operation of underground coal mines. Services include roadway development, materials handling systems, longwall relocations, ventilation, secondary support, outbye services and supply of labour and equipment. Mastermyne Underground operates across underground sites in Queensland’s Bowen Basin and in the NSW Illawarra region.
	Mastermyne Services provides specialised electrical services for open cut and underground coal mines and represents Mastermyne’s entry into servicing open cut mines and coal ports. Services include electrical maintenance, construction and major asset shutdowns (including wash plants, shovels and draglines). Mastermyne Services also supplies electricians to the Underground division. Mastermyne Services recently expanded its offering to include mechanical and maintenance services for coal mine owners and operators.
	Mastermyne Engineering provides niche manufacturing of specialised underground equipment, ventilation control devices and underground mining consumables. Mastermyne Engineering supplies most of Australia’s underground coal mines. Mastermyne Engineering’s main workshop is in Yeppoon, Queensland with a satellite workshop in the Hunter Valley to service the NSW mines.
