Rod Erwin General Manager HSEC

Rod has over 12 years’ experience in the Health, Safety, Environment and Community sector, the majority of time served in the underground coal mining, heavy industry and sugar sectors.

A hands on approach and a whole of business understanding ensures Rod is as comfortable engaging with entry level miners right through to senior Project Management and Client representatives.

His safety leadership and supportive yet compliance focused approach enables him to influence others to demonstrate required safety behaviours and comprehend individual personal safety responsibility.

He holds a wide range of expertise in developing, coordinating and improving workplace health and safety practices and policies supporting a workforce of up to 1000.

As Mastermyne’s HSEC Manager, Rod provides support to up to 8 HSEC Coordinators and has mentored more than 30 Operational Project Managers to enable Mastermyne to achieve accreditation in Health, Safety and Environmental Management as determined by AS4801 and ISO 14001.

Gordon Draper General Manager Wilson Mining

Gordon has worked underground for 13 years, moving from QLD Operations Manager into the GM role June 2023. In senior management roles with Wilson Mining since 2019, he has built strong relationships with our clients and suppliers, turning the business around into one of the best performers in the market.
Gordon has a strong focus on HSEC, HR, Finance, Supply Chain and R&D, always striving for continuous improvement. During his tenure, Wilson Mining has currently achieved 2 years RI Free and a TRIFR of Zero. Gordon’s qualifications include Diploma Project Management, Cert IV in Training and Assessment along with Supervisor qualifications.

Larnie Mackay General Manager MyneSight

Larnie joined the MyneSight team as General Manager in 2021.  Larnie kick started her career in the coal mining industry in 1998 having fulfilled various roles from supply chain, contract and project management, HR, operational scheduling and business improvement with her previous role being Underground Digital Transformation Project Lead at Anglo American Metallurgical Coal including experience internationally.

Larnie is vivacious, has amazing energy, a strong passion for digital technology and an extensive network across the resources sector, including being a committee member of the Queensland Mining Industry Health & Safety Conference and won the 2020 Minerals Council of Australia Maptek Technological Innovation Award.

With a clear vision for MyneSight’s growth as well as integrating other business acquisitions, Larnie will lead the MyneSight Team to continue delivering exceptional training without compromising quality and compliance whilst providing a technology strategy to enhance MyneSight’s products and improve user experience for our clients.

Outside of work Larnie’s three daughters is her total focus but does enjoy a cardio dance class when time permits.

Clinton Page General Manager, Mine Design Engineer

Clinton is a highly experienced Mining Engineering Professional, with over 23 years, holding Senior Mine Operational and Technical positions in tier-one underground coal businesses.

Throughout Clinton’s career he has a vast experience in the mining sector, ranging from production management, planning and technical design, project portfolio management, business restructuring & improvement, complex brownfield mine expansion project delivery, whilst ensuring a key focus on critical risk management.

Clinton enjoys keeping up with his active family through many sporting clubs and events.
