Narrabri’s Sparkys rolling out the new Prodmate Tablets
“CALL OUT” to Chris Mapleson and his team of sparky’s at Narrabri Cut Flit Project. This week saw the roll out of the underground Prod mate tablets into the underground operation. This is a first for Mastermyne and well ahead of many of the tier one operations around the industry. This was the result of months of effort and collaboration with Whitehaven and will see our deputies being able to complete production reports completely online and dispense with the tedious tasks of hand writing these on a shiftly basis. This system will then enable daily and weekly reporting and real time data to be accessed. Other benefits of this will see our crews have the ability to take pictures and send straight to the team on the surface, the ability to view Citect data and cut down on the requirements for deputies to phone control constantly for short interval control.
Still some work to do before this system is 100% integrated into the way we do our wok but off to a good start and a big step forward for our business goals of bringing innovation to our work.
